Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Configuration Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Manage the end-to-end process of software configuration.
• Determine configuration and integration requirements.
• Analyze requirements and business needs to create comprehensive configuration plans.
• Outline deadlines and provide accurate estimations for project timelines.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams to manage dependencies on deliveries and releases.
• Collaborate and communicate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment.
• Create and commit configurations, ensuring they meet specified requirements.
• Perform configuration reviews to maintain high standards of quality.
• Identify and fix any defects in the configuration.
• Hold the requirements team accountable for meeting asset deadlines.
• Remove any blockers that might affect the configuration deadlines.
• Communicate configuration readiness to the Program Manager/Implementation Lead.
• Maintain source code in version control tools, utilizing effective branching and merging strategies.

What You Bring:

• Fluent English: Excellent communication skills in English.
• Independent Work: Ability to work independently in defining requirements and managing tasks.
• Version Control Expertise: Experience and good understanding of version control processes and systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in JSON, XML, and TypeScript.
• Software Development Processes: Experience and understanding of software development processes.
• Tools Proficiency: Experience with Git, NPM/Yarn.
• Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of QA and/or DevOps processes.
• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio/Xcode, Postman, JIRA or similar, and Service Desk or similar.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of Azure pipelines.
• Previous experience in a similar position, particularly in integrating software with medical devices.
