Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Develop, maintain, and support various applications within the Sustainability Digital cluster, focusing on the IMDS & Health product.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled software engineers to solve domain-related problems and deliver business value.
• Utilize your software engineering expertise to ensure high-quality code and effective problem-solving.
• Stay updated on best practices, sound engineering principles, and maintain code hygiene.
• Engage in Agile methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
• Implement and manage REST APIs, and leverage DevOps/CI/CD practices to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
• Work with SQL databases to support data management needs of the applications.

What You Bring:

• Technical Expertise:
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in C#, Java, or Node.js.
• Proficient in developing and managing REST APIs.
• General knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Methodology and Practices:
• Experience with Agile methods of working.
• Passionate about delivering business value through effective software development.
• A commitment to sound engineering principles, such as the single responsibility principle and automated testing.
• Personal Attributes:
• A genuine interest in continuous learning and staying updated on best practices.
• Ability to ask for help when needed and provide support to team members.

• Preferred Competence (Good to Have):
