Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Android Automotive Software Developer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Develop the next-generation infotainment system based on Google’s Android Automotive OS.
• Perform software development in both application and native layers of the Android stack for the infotainment system.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers and other stakeholders to define and implement a coherent end-to-end solution.
• Take part in a team with end-to-end responsibility, encompassing design, architecture, documentation, development, verification, and validation.
• Contribute to the development process from our new office at Lindholmen in Gothenburg.

What You Bring:

• M.Sc. in Software Engineering or equivalent experience through extensive practice.
• Several years of experience in Android app development (Java/Kotlin).
• Proficiency in AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and the AOSP build system.
• Familiarity with modern app architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM, clean architecture).
• Strong knowledge of Android testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito).
• Experience with Python scripting.
• A passion for creating the best solutions to enhance customer experience.
• An open mindset with a focus on cooperation and solution-finding.
• Strong technical knowledge to devise feasible solutions within project scope.
