Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Software Application Developer to join our dynamic team.

• Be part of an empowered agile DevOps team that strives for continuous learning and improvements.
• Define, build, test, deploy, maintain, and operate highly secure applications serving connected cars and their users within the product area of Position & Map Services.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure the development of the right functionality.
• Estimate the size and complexity of the work to plan upcoming sprints effectively.
• Determine and maintain the technical design within the given architectural guidelines.
• Work with modern tools, a microservices-oriented architecture, and new technologies.
• Learn from your peers, influence work processes, and develop innovative solutions.
• Operate in a hybrid setup with teams and colleagues globally, including locations in Gothenburg, Lund, Europe, the US, and China.

What You Bring:

• At least 5 years of experience with Java development.
• BSc degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with Spring-framework, DevOps, test automation, and system monitoring.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, REST/gRPC, and JMS/AMQP.
• Previous experience in handling car-related information to the cloud, cars, mobile apps, and partners is highly valued.
• Understanding of agile development methodology principles (e.g., Scaled Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban).
• Experience working in product teams.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Genuine interest in working and developing within a product area.
• Embrace teamwork, collaboration, and eagerness to learn and develop new competencies.
• Keen interest in technology evolution within software development and a proactive approach to providing new ideas to improve the product and processes continuously.
