We are looking for an experienced audio engineer to join our Core Technologies Media team.
Technology development at Axis
Technology development is the first stage of Axis Product development cycle and aims at understanding and influencing what users within the surveillance market want and need in the future. Core Technologies Media provide a competence and technology base within video and audio that enable Axis to efficiently develop innovative and highly competitive products and features.
What will you do?
As an Audio Engineer within Core Technologies Media you will be part of a 14 engineer strong team that focus on audio and video. The position includes tasks like trend monitoring, customer meetings, prototyping audio concepts and algorithm development. The team is responsible for developing new audio features and maintaining our audio platform. We have a close cooperation with the Audio product development.
The typical employee in our team works in roles such as software engineer, technical lead or technical expert.

We also strongly believe that, as a team, to continue to develop and to be able to deliver solutions with great value, we need to be open, share findings and have the courage to try out new ideas.
Who are we looking for?
We think you are an SW engineer with several years of experience and that you have good knowledge of software development and experience of programming in an embedded environment, preferably Linux.
We expect you to have:
Knowledge within audio processing, audio analytics is a plus.
Signal processing and algorithm development background.
Of course, a genuine audio interest.
Skills in tools and programming languages like: C/C++, Python and Matlab.
As a person you are curious, positive and have an open mindset. You have a strong technology interest and you like to find innovative solutions on tough challenges even if it is outside your comfort zone.
You preferably have a Master's degree in computer science, physics, electrical engineering or similar.
