Full Stack Software Engineer to a Manufacturing Company

About the role
You will work as an full stack software engineer within the IoT field,  for our client that is one of the world´s largest manufacturers of formwork and scaffolding. As a software developer you will be functioning as the tech lead within a small agile team developing tomorrows IoT solutions for the construction industry. You will interface with key suppliers and will work in an innovative environment developing IoT and sensor technology for industrial applications. You are going to work in tight cooperation with embedded software development to realize an optimized system architecture with efficient protocols. You will also maintain the changelog and execute the change management. Some of your core tasks are:

• Full stack development of web based services in the IoT field
• Definition of system architecture & supporting the integration to the corporate software landscape
• Overall architecture and implementation of relational databases
• Design and programming of web-based services, backend and frontend, using e.g.  JavaScript, SQL, PHP, Python, REST, HTML5, CSS
• Emphasis on Front End development considering high usability and an innovative user experience (UX/UI) considering corporate style guidelines
• Full stack quality assurance incl. test management

Who are you?
You have a genuine interest to develop yourself but also to help the environment and team around you to develop further. You like to share your knowledge, are social as a person and are open for new ideas. As a person you are flexible, social and like to drive processes forward. Fluency in English both written and verbal is demand. You have a university degree in computer science with at least four years of experience that are relevant to the field. You have advanced skills in JavaScript, SQL, PHP, Python, REST, HTML5, CSS and Git version handling. When it comes to Agile coaching you have a few years´ experience. Meritorious is to have worked with Node.js in backend or skills in .NET (VB, C++).
