Product Tester

THE ROLE
As a Product Tester you will, as a part of the QA team, take on the challenge of ensuring quality in our products during their entire lifecycle. From early feature-testing close to the R&D team, up to full systems tests prior to official product releases. The products are hardware and software systems used to make measurements and analysis based on images. Our customers are partners and end-users from many different hi-tech sectors and markets around the world.

As a Product Tester you will work actively with quality assurance and test of new product releases by:
• performing manual front end testing, user-based testing and regression testing.
• performing systems testing; hardware and software.
• initiating, supervising and evaluating automatic tests.
• performing validation and analysis of product testing
• reporting deviations into bug tracking system.
• aid in developing our product-test methods.
• QA-vise, supporting in R&D-activities and investigations.
• supporting the product managers in dedicated feature or product testing.
• supporting the product managers by aiding in product documentation.

As a part of the role, you will also assist customers and partners with licenses and provide technical support to users. Our working situation is dynamic, which requires a flexible mind-set, an ability to make quick decisions and a wish to deliver also under certain urgency. YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a person who is seeking to combine curiosity and quality awareness with technical skills. An analytic person who likes to be throughout and to get to the bottom of things, still understanding the business side of product development.

To be successful in this job, a deep technical interest and skill is important. You need to be self-going and good at structuring and prioritizing your own work. Experience in test & measurements as well as a documented skill in programming, especially in Java, is an advantage. Also, you need to have very good communication skills in both Swedish and English. Driver’s license is required.
This position is placed at our office in Linköping.
