SYKES has experienced significant growth recently and we wish to extend our Telephony team with another person. You will be located in our Gothenburg site and will be part of a virtual team mainly supporting sites in Northern Europe but also rest of the EMEA region. There will also be the possibility for travel between sites as and when required.

The Telephony team provides engineering support, with specific responsibility for fault escalation and management to resolution, system design, installation, configuration, network management and technical consultancy. This role encompasses all aspects of maintenance and installation work on the Avaya Aura product suite including ACM, CMS, AES, AAEP, Aura Messaging & One-X products. You will also support our Oracle SBCs and call recording solution from Uptivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provide both onsite and remote maintenance support for reported issues
-Responsible for the maintenance of new and upgraded PBX solutions
-Provide system design and associated technical support to the business for both operational and development activities.
-To provide expert technical knowledge within the organization and ensure that definition/ documentation is maintained to the highest levels.
-Assist operational management with responses and presentations for new development opportunities.
-Support product / service consultancy opportunities as defined.
-To review and update operational documentation for new and existing products and update as necessary.
-Fulfilment of site audits / project activities as required.
-Assist operational management with client meetings as necessary.
-Provision / inputs to ad-hoc, weekly and monthly client reports.
-Be part of an out of hours on call rota.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

1 years related work experience and/or training, with a background in Telecoms

-Avaya training desired
-Avaya ACA desirable
-Avaya experience desirable
-AAEP programming experience desirable
-Oracle SBC and SIP knowledge desired
-Knowledge and demonstrable experience of
Avaya CM
Avaya CMS
Avaya Aura messaging
-Strong written and verbal skills
-Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office & MS Visio

LANGUAGE SKILLS
This role is supporting Northern Europe so being a native speaker in a Scandinavian language is a requirement and also perfect English skills.

The job is full time with permanent employment. You will work daytime 08-17 and every fourth weekend with preparedness depending on staffing in the telephone team.
