I-Talent Programme? What’s that?
You are important to us and that is why we want to invest in you! During six months you will get all the training and support you need to quickly become a skilled IT Professional. And we give you the opportunity to work together with truly awesome colleagues, and to get an extensive network within Scania.
I-Talent Programme is an initiative started in 2015 at Scania IT aiming to employ newly graduates who has their interest and heart within tech. IT at Scania have great experience making our talents grow. As a proof of this, we can gladly say that most of the previous I-Talents still work with us. They are IT Professionals working as developers in self-supporting teams, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Group Managers and much more. Simply put, they do really cool things and play a key role in Scania’s success!

About the role
The group's mission is to gather Scania data and make it available for different types of analysis.
They develop and manage Scanias Data Lake and Common Data Warehouse. They also support different types of analysis, ranging from traditional Business Intelligence to Advanced Analysis conducted by Data Scientists.

The team work closely with other team to create the conditions for a Data Driven Scania and enable Scania's digitalization trip. They support the availability of data, for example from the connected vehicles, production equipment, internal systems, but also external such as map information, etc, but also with tools and working methods.

This is not a data scientist role, but a role for you who are interested in analysis but wants to work with the platform. You might have experience of Hadoop, SQL or Python, but mostly, you likw working with great amounts of data.

What’s in it for you?
During the program you will be working at Scania in a specific role within one of our many great teams. Together with your fellow IT talents, you will every other week learn more about the company through different activities, receive technical training or learn more about yourself in communication and collaboration training. All of this is done together with dedicated teachers. To your support, you will have a “buddy” from Scania as well as being a part of a mentor program.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for IT graduates who have the potential and desire to become T-shaped IT Professionals at Scania. This means having the ability and the drive to acquire knowledge both in an overall perspective and in certain areas in depth. Applicants should hold a relevant Bachelor or a Master degree.
Furthermore, we are looking for committed and motivated individuals who seek continuous improvement. You need to be innovative, a very good team player and see your future in IT.

All positions are located at Scania in Södertälje and the program will start in the beginning of February 2019. Written and spoken English and Swedish is required.
