Within the area of Core Technology Electrics & Electronic Platform we are looking to hire an embedded system engineer.
Our department, Embedded System and Hardware, is responsible for the overall electrical systems architecture and its common used EE components within Volvo CE machines. As part of the E/E Embedded System team, you have the opportunity to work with a variety of systems, people and platforms cross products to shape the future of our electronic systems, to support e.g. Hybrid Powertrain systems, Machine Control systems (X by wire), HMI/UX and connectivity systems.

As an EE system engineer you will participate in and drive activities such as identify requirement, write requirements, develop and explore alternative system concept solutions, component development from concept to production as well as maintenance support. You will work cross domain including areas as electrical distribution, data communication, functional decomposition, power generation, connectivity, Machine control through X by wire system etc...
This role gives a good opportunity for you to find you expertise area and evolve within the EE embedded system area.

About You
We are looking for engineers with interest in embedded systems and component development. You should also like working in team, be self-motivated and have a supporting attitude.

Experience and Qualifications
BSc or MSc degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Naturally technical, able to employ fundamental engineering principles
High self-motivation, willingness to learn and develop
Ability to work as a team member but also independently
Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
