Cloud Engineer

Do you want to be a part of an exciting Cloud Journey? H&Ms Cloud Office is looking for a person with a passion for development within Cloud. As a Cloud team member at H&M you will be a part of the Cloud Office that supports the entire H&M group.

The Cloud Engineering team, which is part of the division Infrastructure and Operations, is responsible for simplifying how systems are developed, deployed, and automated.

You will be a part of a new central multifunctional team that will establish this capability and way of working at H&M’s IT department. People come to us with complex loosely-defined problems and ask us to turn them into solutions. Sometimes this means we’re collaborating on problems outside our knowledge area, which requires us to learn new things quickly and thrive in ambiguity.

We are looking for a great team player with a DevOps perspective to ensure that our solutions are both efficient and safe, and who is comfortable in spreading knowledge with passion!

Your responsibilities

The job of an H&M Cloud Engineer comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun.
Your to do-list includes:

- Work in close collaboration with other teams and division in the H&M group
- Be an ambassador for our Cloud Journey
- Onboard new systems / applications to our Cloud
- Improve our deployment methods to the Cloud
- Understanding service concepts in the Cloud
- Working with infrastructure as code, CI / CD
- Working alongside the development teams to ship new features / solutions as smooth as
possible
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, software, or practices that contribute to overall improvements
- Use, test, update and create documentation for our central automation capabilities
- Implement tools to automate deployment, monitoring and operations.

- A strong Developer background
