Web Developer with a flair for e-commerce

About the role

This role centers around the Paradox Interactive e-commerce platform built on Magento. In this role you will head up the development and support of the e-commerce platform helping us evolve it to the next level and the levels that comes after that level.

You will also be a key member in designing and building integration solutions, connecting the platform with internal and external services. This will also mean that you will be working closely with marketing and sales, helping them to maximize the effectiveness of our tools and tech.

You will be part of a mixed disciplined team of developers working in many different areas involving online systems and solutions for our games and other platforms. We do daily standups and work using a structured backlog where we commit to tasks on a weekly basis.

You probably have 3-5 years experience in working with e-commerce solutions and you're pretty comfortable with the LAMP stack but have also branched out into other areas.

When it comes to your work you are a craftsman with a keen eye to details and potential pitfalls, you are probably instinctively proactive and pragmatic both in how you communicate and in your implementations, not to mention setting up application environments. You are also not afraid to dive into logs and verify that the configuration of installed services are correct and up to date.

You probably have one or more pet projects running on the side and you enjoy trying out new frameworks and languages. Part of your passion is to combine visually pleasing aesthetics with useful services in order to create a top of the line user experience.
