Our Costumer is one of the world’s leading companies within communication and telecom. They are based in 180 countries worldwide and have over 100 000 employees. Their ambition is that their 5G network will cover 40 % of the population worldwide in 2024 which will contribute to better communication within all parts of society.

The position is based in Gothenburg at Lindholmen Science Park and is a consultancy position with the ambition of a continued employment at the company.

Arbetsuppgifter:

As a junior developer you will be a part of a dedicated team of around seven persons and together you will develop specific features for the development of the 5G network worldwide. You work in an agile structure and deliver solutions monthly towards the clients, your team is responsible for planning your tasks in a way that accommodates this. As a world leading contributor in the 5G network development, focus in this company is always on finding new solutions and adapting the technology to handle new requirements regarding Cloud solutions and speed. Depending on your interest and previous knowledge you will be placed in the department that best suits you, whether your main focus lies with programming in C, C++ or Erlang.

As a junior developer you will have a mentor in your team that helps with your introduction as well as many opportunities to develop your knowledge in the field through training and education within the company.

Profil:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in relevant field
• Strong skill in software development in C, C++ or Erlang
• You have an understanding of working in a Linux environment
• You are proficient in English, spoken and written

We believe you are a person with a strong interest in programming, you are always looking for ways to develop yourself and your knowledge. You prefer to work with others and share your knowledge and thoughts with colleagues throughout your work process. You are open to hear about other ideas and can take a step back in the group and listen to others as well as share your thoughts to find new solutions. Furthermore, you are interested in telecom and curious about how you can contribute in a new technology.
