We are looking for a new Software and System Developer within the Microsoft .NET framework to join the Divisional IT Application Management team at Ascom Wireless Solutions.

About the Job
Ascom Wireless Solution hosts a large number of internally designed and developed applications that supports our business processes. These applications are maintained and improved by our IT Application Management, ITAM, team. Ascom WS currently also implements Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 as the ERP for the whole division. This is done with an external implementation partner supported by our ITAM team.

The ITAM team consists of people with competencies within .NET and Dynamics AX, both process, development and application. Now we would like to strengthen the team with an additional developer. The main purpose of this position is to be the person that realizes changes and addition to existing applications, design and develop new applications, as well as making code changes to our application portfolio.

Your main responsibilities include:

* Participate in development projects as software development engineer and sometimes also as software project manager.
* Keep updated on the technical development within the software development field of expertise, and apply this knowledge to existing and new work processes.
* Carry out acute and planned maintenance job on existing applications within the group’s responsibility area.
* Maintain and improve the software development environment.
* Document the solution according to internal standard
* To participate in the overall process within the IT Application Management group (ITAM)

This is a full time position and you will be member of the ITAM team reporting to Manager Divisional IT Application Management. Since the team is responsible for a platform with international users and systems located in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, you will need to occasionally work outside office hours at releases and upgrades.

Your qualifications include:

* Documented knowledge and experience within .NET (C#) and SQL server. Certificates within this area is a merit
* Minimum three and preferably five year’s relevant working experience within the responsibility area
* Good communication and training skills
* Understanding of the business processes in a global company like ours
* Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbal. To be used in communications with the organization and to document the work done in both general and technical documents for various audience

Experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX and SharePoint development is a strong merit.

For this position, great emphasis on personal characteristics will be important.
