Business Information Analyst

Polypeptide is the world-leading manufacturer of peptide APIs with 820 employees’ worldwide and 240 employees in Sweden. The Business Intelligence Manager consolidates information from different parts of the business and presents analyzed figures to the organization that is used when setting the strategically directions for the future. The position as Business Information Analyst is based in Malmö and reporting to the Global Business Information Manager and will have a close collaboration with both the local and global staff functions.
Role
In the role as Business Information Analyst, you will support business by presenting correct and analyzed data that can be used in various decision processes. In order to get the information you need you will support the organizations in setting up structures. You are comfortable in asking the right questions; Why the information is needed, what needs to be reported and explaining how/when. You work close together with the different stakeholders, challenging “rumors” with facts and can guide when focus move from need to have to nice to have. A large part of this role will be to harmonize the ways of reporting on all our sites in order to get out the right data to analyst.

- Excellent in SQL (Development and queries)

-Experienced in working with data warehouse - generate reports, develop analytics applications etc.

We expect you to have a University degree in System Engineering or an equivalent education as well as an in-depth knowledge in various systems. You have experience of minimum 3-5 years working with Business Intelligence / Information.
As a person, you are a team player, outgoing and accustomed to work towards many different stakeholders. You are detail orientated without losing the overall picture and are passionate when explaining the need of facts in order to take the right decisions. You have a positive "can-do" attitude and you are prestigeless. For this position, you need to know Swedish and English fluently, in both writing and oral.
