Graphic Designer to EU agency

Job Description
Perido is searching for a Graphic Designer for our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The position is placed at their beautiful office nicely located inStockholm.

In this assignment you will take on a broad and exciting role that offers an ever-changing workday. You will (among other things):

-Support the work of the editorial team for our clients regular journal with the lay-out of the electronic and print version of the journal;
-Provide and develop graphical presentations that meet the high scientific standards of the journal;
-Contribute to the visual identity of our client by providing high quality lay-out services and actively creating graphical solutions for the various scientific publications of the agency;
-Support the internal communication team with design material for print and web (intranet) purposes, develop design proposals for leaflets, posters etc.;
Work closely with experts to produce infographics and data visualisations based on data and key messages.

To be successful in this role you need a high level of service orientation and customer service spirit. You have the ability to work under pressure, handle responsibilities and prioritise and plan your work accordingly. Furthermore we believe that you enjoy building relationships and communicate with team members, colleagues and external resources. Required qualifications
-University education
-Proven experience in graphic design, layout AND web design;
-Proven experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat;
-Experience in data visualisation is advantageous;
-Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office;
-Excellent English skills and the ability to work under pressure in a team

Contract type and hours
Full time. Start as soon as possible. End date September 30 2015 with possible extension (12 months).
