Software Engineer in Embedded Application Development to iopsys!

iopsys is looking for a college who are a motivated software engineer with a passion for embedded development. As a developer, you will become a part of iopsys growing Software Development - Userspace team. The applications you develop, will be used by iopsys Cloud team and third part developers to build gadgets and remote apps on top of the APIs created by those applications.

Academic Work is on behalf of our client iopsys looking for a software engineer to join their growing software development team. The work is performed closely with other teams in the organization, such as product management, customer support and kernel development team, which leads to a good understanding and an overall impression of the full projects and products. iopsys software solutions AB is a subsidiary to Inteno Group AB, an international group of companies within the residential gateway business

This is a consultant assignment. Academic Work will be your employer and you will work as a consultant at Iopsys. The assignment will be full time and extend long term.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Software Engineer in iopsysWrt Software Development - Userspace team, you will develop and maintain applications providing APIs that will be used in controlling the functionality of the CPEs. The applications you develop will be used by iopsys Cloud team and third part developers to build gadgets and remote apps on top of the APIs created by those applications. You will also take part in development of the AngularJS based WebGUI mainted by Userspace team which lives on top of those same APIs.

In the role, you will work within C/C++ development for embedded application and in Linux system. You will also support architectural decisions and help out in internal and external customer support.

For example, you will:

* Use BASH for startup and hot-plug scripts
* Use JavaScript and HTML for GUI development
* Debugging your own and others’ code
* Troubleshooting network and wireless problems

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We are looking for you who have MS or BS in Computer science or equivalent. We are also looking for you who have experience in C programming in embedded systems as well as experience in Linux/ Unix systems. Since you will do technical documentation in English, you need to have excellent English skills.

It sees as an extra plus if you have experience in:

* C programming in embedded systems in limited hardware environment (ARM/MIPS Processor)
* Network Programming
* WLAN, TCP/IP, Firewall

We believe you are a versatile and pragmatic professional with a genuine interest in technology. You are interested in continuously updating your knowledge and improving your skills. You are accustomed to work both independently and in teams. In the role as embedded software engineer there will be great opportunities to utilize a multitude of skills, primarily software design and implementation but also profiling and optimization, troubleshooting, debug and trace, requirement analysis and more.
