Main tasks and responsibilities:

As a Java Developer your main focus will be on the delivery of our digital services to our customers. You will be a part of the Accounts & Payments Channels department and cooperate closely with business, operations, IT Services and other development teams across SEB group. You belong to Cash Management & Loans which consists of five different departments with a total of 350 people. Our clients consists of large accounts and your team will primarily be working with our Open Banking services for all customer segments, as well as with our digital bank for Large Corporations and Financial Institutions.

Open Banking is the next generation of digital services which SEB will co-create together with developers, innovative companies and fintechs.

As a Java developer, you will have a strategically important role to drive our digital journey forward. In your team of highly motivating, creative and senior colleagues, you will be part of an agile team where the focus is to enable faster deliveries to our customers and to develop our future solutions.

Your background:

You have at least 3 years’ experience as a Java developer and preferably from Java 1.6-1.9, GIT, Red Hat OpenShift, Spring, JavaScript (react), Html 4/5, SQL, Oracle, REST , API / Microservices. It is also an advantage if you have experience with WebSphere Liberty, JMS / MQ and Kafka.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you can take your own initiative in a technically competent team. You enjoy working in a tight team and taking a joint responsibility for deliveries and driving change through new technology. In addition, you like to cooperate, are driven and analytical. You have a great interest in tools, design and architecture.
