Full Stack Web Developer - Java, Angular, React

We offer hundreds of thousands of audiobooks and ebooks to customers in 15 markets, with several new markets launching in the coming year. Storytel is Northern Europe's largest audiobook streaming service and we are looking for talented full stack developers to join our team.

About the role

As a developer in the Content Tech Team, you will help develop the in-house production tool we built to optimize the entire digital book production workflow. It handles the whole process from concept to distribution for both audiobooks and e-books and is used by our global production team, which includes publishers, editors, narrators and audio engineers etc.

Where?

This position is open in our Stockholm headquarters on Riddarholmen.

Your qualifications

- Experience with JVM or .NET languages
- Experience with Angular, React or similar frontend frameworks
- Relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of automated testing principles and tooling
- You write code that is easy to understand and maintain
- Comfortable with written and spoken English

Desirable skills

- Git and GitHub Flow
- Experience with modern web development pipelines - Webpack or similar
- Experience writing REST-ish APIs
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Service-based architectures
- Cloud - Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS or similar
- Messaging frameworks - Google Cloud Pubsub, Kafka or similar
- NoSQL databases - Google Cloud Datastore, Redis or similar
- Web frameworks - Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core or similar
- Unix/Linux - Debian/Ubuntu, macOS or similar
