MOBILE APP DEVELOPER

As Mobile App Developer for Electrolux Europe, you will be part of the Electrolux IT Consumer and Customer solutions team responsible to execute the Electrolux business strategy for connected consumer-facing mobile apps.

The role is part of the IT team being the key contact point for the Connectivity business operations in Europe, working closely with them to help to define and to implement the new range of connected apps.
This entails both delivering new app features as per the plan agreed with the product owners and supporting live apps; a strong emphasis will be also done on helping the business organization to understand how to leverage digital technologies in the best way to innovate and simplify the Electrolux business.

A REGULAR DAY AT WORK

You will
• Develop Android app for the Electrolux Europe connected apps
• Collaborate with Electrolux business/technical stakeholders and external partners to design, develop and test the connected mobile apps
• Contribute in the implementation of an automated Android app testing capability in the team
• Use of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and collaboration tooling (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Appium, Cucumber, etc.)
• Support of the Connectivity Generation Plan (specifically the release plans of the connected apps) for Electrolux Europe
• Coordinate of the App Analytics reporting activities, in line with the requirements given by the Connectivity business operations in Europe
• Support Electrolux Europe Connectivity user group initiatives and collaboration
• Proactively act in business and IT process analysis and development, to optimize current business applications.
• Produce presentations on mobile apps (analysis, design, and solutions) and communicate them in a professional way.
• Maintain continuous business and internal team interaction and relationships.
• Foster collaboration of all associated process areas.
• Ensure proper and up-to-date documentation

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in mobile app development – basic knowledge on Android platform, nice to have experience on iOS platform.
Experience in development of consumer-facing mobile apps, connected apps would be a plus.
Excellent English knowledge, written and spoken.
Technology skills: Java, Android SDK, Android Studio/Eclipse C#, REST API, shell, Git, jUnit, Jenkins, Jira, Postman, etc.
Knowledge about large IT initiatives within the area of connected apps
Grasp the overall process related to process design, development and governance of an IT landscape
Understand how the initiatives within connected apps and IOT can bring value to the business
APIs development, Backend development (optional), Objective-C, Swift, etc.
