Senior Developer

We're looking to grow our technical team with a senior developer. You will be a part of DDB Digital, developing high end solutions for our clients.

Our standards are extremely high when it comes to finish so we expect someone who is an expert rather than a generalist. You know your way around a different number of languages and platforms which means you will have no problem jumping into our current projects that involves HTML5, Sass, JavaScript, Backbone, PHP, WordPress, Node.js and Git. You also have waterproof skills within MVC and one or more object oriented language such as PHP, Objective-C, Java, Python or Ruby. You have a great passion for every line of code, but also know how to prioritise between deliverables and time plan.

As a senior developer you will be a mentor and buddy to our junior developers. You will also work close to our Technical Director with more broad technical questions and challenges.

We work with both long term solutions as well as shorter term campaigns and activations so you need to like the mix of long and short projects.

All our developers work close to our UX/Designers to deliver top class results.

Formal education is preferred but talent is even more important.

Responsibilities
- Work with creatives (Directors, UX, Design) to create concepts.
- Create prototypes and mockups (static and with animations).
- Build responsive frameworks.
- Create world class brand sites, campaigns and applications.
- Be responsible for adjusting scope and ambition of work according to time available.
- Be a sidekick to our Technical Director regarding broader challenges.
- Mentor and buddy to our junior developers.

Profile
- Quick learner
- 4+ years of experience
- Developed multiple responsive solutions or applications
- Expert HTML/CSS/Javascript/SASS or LESS
- Very good knowledge in at least one object oriented language
