Powertrain Electrics and Electronics develops electronic solutions in-house for engines, transmissions and Full Electrical/Hybrid powertrains for the whole Volvo Group.
You will be joining an empowered team who is continuously improving the embedded software platform to achieve faster and more efficient software frameworks for our more than 300 application software engineers when developing features for our customers.

Your role:
Specify, design, implement, verify and integrate Embedded software solutions enabling new capabilities in our in-house designed platform SW.
Contribute to infrastructure, tools and evolution of our Continuous Integration framework.
Working with enthusiastic engineers and take an active part in our Agile journey.

Who are you:
You have a BSc/MSc or similar background in Embedded Software, Electronics, Physics or similar.
You are interested in embedded real time systems programming, having skills in different languages such as C, Python or similar.
It is beneficial if you have competences and experience in areas like software architecture, design or verification.
We are working in a global environment, so you need to have good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
The role includes both teamwork and independent work so you need to be comfortable with both.
As a person you are open-minded, pro-active, provide ideas and drive them.
You will join our Software development center located in Göteborg (Lundby area).
