Academic Work is on behalf of our client looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded Android engineer for their platform infrastructure team. This is a consultant assignment. Academic Work will be your employer and you will work as a consultant at our clients office, which is located in the city center of Stockholm. The assignment will be full time and last in long term. Given that all parties are satisfied with the cooperation, there is an opportunity for extension.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
In your role as a Android engineer you will help enable developers to innovate and iterate quickly, improving our clients developer experience. As part of the infrastructure team, you will help our clients engineers quickly understand the impact of their code changes so they can deliver a rock-solid beautiful product to their end-users in a reliable and timely manner.

For example, you will:

* Work with and improve the local development environment for our clients feature engineers
* Develop tooling for measuring development productivity and speed
* Developing impactful solutions to improve the speed of development for feature engineers
* Develop tooling for general developer productivity
* Innovate at a high pace to support development at scale
* Become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team
* Become a developer advocate improving technical communications with developers within our client and foster a deeper understanding of their problems and need

The position suits a person who wants to work within a team where you get to take great responsibility. By designing, developing and deploying backend services, you will be a big part of the future music experience. In addition to this, you are ambitious and enjoy seeing seeing millions of users running your code.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
You who have at least 3 years of working experience as a Software Engineer with either Java or C++ and are willing to learn and work with both.

We are also looking for you:

* Who have working experience as an Android engineer. This can be offset by a strong general development background.
* Who have experience with XP, strong testing practices or CI/CD.
* Who have strong English skills

If you have experience in other languages and platforms such as Python, iOS, Objective-C, low level programming or productivity tools, that would be a bonus.
