Senior Solutions Architect with Sandvine, Sweden

The Opportunity

In this role, you will provide guidance and assist account teams in building network Policy control and Packet Logic solutions to address specific customer needs. In this position, you will be working with technology experts to help them position the solution effectively against competing offerings, generate solution proposals, and support proof-of-concepts. Related technical knowledge is essential. You must demonstrate an eagerness to learn & establish an in-depth knowledge of Sandvine's solutions.

This role is located in Malmo, Sweden.

The Job

• Provide consultation on technology and solutions to field engineers.
• Establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one area of Network Control.
• Use your network design, scripting and web development skills to develop compelling solutions for Sandvine’s customers as well as base documentation for internal and customer use across teams.
• Develop and document new solutions and service descriptions for internal and external use.
• Deliver technical presentations for internal audiences, customers and prospects.

What skills you bring

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 6 plus years industry experience with a network equipment manufacturer or Internet service provider
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Working knowledge of web development (JavaScript, HTML, HTTP APIs, Git)
• Working knowledge of ISP infrastructure technologies & protocols (DHCP, RADIUS, DIAMETER, GTP-C, BGP, SOAP, LDAP)
• Understanding of network call flows using network traffic captures using tools such as Wireshark
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (sh, bash, tcl, Python, and Perl) and SQL
• Virtualization skills (Hypervisors, Openstack)
• Familiar with the use of MicroStrategy would be an asset
• High energy, self-starter with strong multi-tasking abilities and the ability to work independently
• Willingness for global travel (estimate 25% travel)
