We are looking for an IT support administrator to work within the service desk team on site at our customers premises in Solna. The main support activities are within first and second line support to the customers internal users and to external users. As the working language is English proficiency and confidence in using English with the related technical terminology is a requirement, additional European language is a plus.

The main activities are within the areas of first and second level IT and communications technology support and the provisioning of end user equipment, software distribution, patch management and operating system deployment onto client computers and other support job activities.

Main, but not limited to, deliverables:
- Register, analyse, categorize and resolve incidents and requests;
- Dispatch incidents to the adequate groups and follow up on progression;
- Support users, their ICT equipment and mobile devices;
- Provide application support, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of applications;
- Provide both remote support and desk support;
- Connect, install and move IT equipment;
- Manage and administer user accounts;
- Provide users with information and guidance on specific ICT products and solutions;
- Keeping inventory of hardware assets and updating configuration items database;
- Assist in design and deployment of operating system images;
- Create and update technical and user oriented documentation;
- Prepare and manage hardware decommissioning;

Experience profile:
- In depth knowledge of Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems and MS Office 2010/2013, configuring and troubleshooting;
- Minimum three years of relevant work experience in a support environment, preferably within the public sector;
- Application deployment and configuration, command line based is an advantage;
- Laptop, desktop, tablet PC hardware;
- Knowledge and management of Apple devices like iPhone, iPad and Mac;
- Experience of SCCM, LANDesk Management suite or similar;
- User support of workstations, telephones, mobile devices and other IT equipment;
- Experience of Sharepoint from end user perspective is a plus;
- User accounts management in Active Directory;
- Experience of Microsoft Exchange communications platform for e-mail, voicemail, instant messaging;
- Knowledge of managing IT infrastructure and operating system deployment processes in SCCM or LANDesk management suite is a plus;
- ITIL Foundation and knowledge of the ITIL processes;
- Knowledge of Power shell and VBS scripting is an advantage;
- Certain experience of video and web conferences and related presentation technologies can be valuable.

The work is to be carried out for eight hours per day at customer premises distributed within an envisioned timeframe from 01/07/2015 until 31/01/2016 for 116 working days, possible prolongation upon customer request. Possible stand-by service might be required occasionally.
