Sr Python Developer

We are currently looking for Senior Python Developers for our customer in the automotive industry. You will be workign on customer site in a fast phased and happening area of R&D and Connectivity.

The assignment is for a Python Developer for the Verification Framework
You will be a part of an agile team to establish an integration and verification environment that enables continuous integration, thus reducing lead time-to-market and increasing product quality. You and the team are responsible for the continuous integration of all internally-developed software and the tool chain. As a Senior Python Developer you will join one of the agile teams involved in the development of the verification framework needed for verifying the Products the team are responsible for. Besides having the technical knowledge, you are expected to be communicative and a proactive team player, result oriented, willing to share your knowledge and, at the same time be receptive and open minded towards others.

Requirements:
• M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development
o Object oriented programming
o Python 3
o Multithreading
o Multiprocessing
o Network programming (Socket over UDP, TCP) and protocols
• Experience in test of embedded systems (unit testing, component testing, etc.); experience in test automation is a big advantage
• Good knowledge of version control systems (GIT)

• Message Queues (for instance: zmq, rabbitmq, nanomsg, amq, redis) and messaging patterns (pub/sub, pipeline, request/reply etc)
• Style guides (pep8, pylint, flake8)
• Linux • Code review tool: (for instance: gerrit, bitbucket, gitlab)
• Storage: (Relational database management systems, in-memory data structure stores, NOSQL database) for instance: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB etc
• Agile processes (KANBAN, SCRUM), experience from agile product development using the SAFe framework
• Very good understanding of Continuous Integration and software tool chains
• Experience from telecom or the Automotive industry
