Our Game Studio in the heart of Gothenburg is now looking for a Game Developer who will enjoy using creativity along with technical skills to bring our amazing games to life.

About the position as Game Developer

As a Game Developer at NetEnt you’ll get the opportunity to learn new technology and develop your skills while providing the best games on the market. At our office at Kungsgatan 42, innovation is everywhere and every day we come up with creative solutions to continue pushing the boundaries of online casino gaming. Here, you will work in a self-propelled, agile team with Developers, Testers, Sound Designers and Artists. Each project, which usually runs for 6-12 months, is built by a team uniquely formed for the task, which means that everybody in the office has the opportunity to work with and learn from everyone else. As a Game Developer you´ll be involved in the whole process of creating a game: from ideation to release. Along the way, your best friends, besides your great colleagues, will be Java and JavaScript. You´ll be responsible for game design and prototyping, proactively finding code obstacles and eliminating them, as well as being the voice of the team in technical forums. But most of all, you will bring our games to life!

You are open to change and receptive to feedback. Our wishes

• Expertise in JavaScript and Java, or willingness to learn.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English

• Experience from the games or gambling industry
• Experience working with open source projects
