Alva Labs is a technology driven company, with a great passion for high-quality software engineering. We are currently a team of twelve based in central Stockholm, with a collective and extensive experience of data science, engineering, product design and psychology. Job Description

Your primary responsibility will be to keep developing our product with the team, closely together with designers and our customers. We build our products with modern technologies and the software architecture is something that we care a lot about. Our backend is implemented using microservices and we have an event driven architecture, that makes extensive use of Google PubSub as a message broker. We do continuous deployment using Travis and Google Cloud Platform.

We have a flexible environment where you will have a lot of freedom to form your working life in a way that suits your needs. You will have flexible hours and freedom to work remotely every now and then if you want to. We are a small innovative team that loves experimenting and have fun together. There will be lots of possibilities to try out new things and to influence both product decisions, technology choices and ways of working.

Qualifications

- At least 2 years’ experience in software developing

- Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent (or similar working experience)

- Experience with JavaScript, React and Python

- Communication skills in Swedish or English

- Experience in Google PubSub, Google App Engine, Travis CI
