Job Description & Summary
A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Information Technology Security team assists PwC in designing and creating sustainable security solutions to provide foundational capabilities and operational discipline through a focus on enterprise requirements and prioritisation, Information Technology security architecture, and the software development lifecycle.

Our Development department consists of smaller teams that develops everything from big cloud based web applications to mobile applications which contributes to PwC’s organization can digitalize and improve the work towards clients. We are looking for a skilled and self driven employee who wants to join our journey where we will change the landscape of how people normally look at accounting, revision and tax. We are growing our small and agile product teams fast, and we need your help! You will have great opportunities to determine how this will happen, and you will be involved in forming the strategies of how we should design this journey as well influence our working methods and technology choices. The role will involve both development and close cooperation with our users.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
- Train and lead staff
- Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
- Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

In the role of senior developer, you will work with modern technologies such as .Net Core, Azure and Angular. We are working on developing both small and large applications in an organization with a strong focus on digitization and with a great willingness to change, which means that you will be most involved in identifying improvement areas as well as taking the lead on things you are passionate about and perceive as valuable.

Preferred skills

- Several years experience of agile system development
- Several years of experience in C # and .NET
- Knowledge of Javascript (Angular, React or equivalent)
- Experience of REST, MSSQL, Micro Services, Entity Framework and Cloud Services
- TDD experience, unit tests, integration testing and performance testing
- Experience and Knowledge in Continuous Integration and Deploy (CICD)
- Used to work in Azure Devops
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years working as a developer including relevant skills
- Proficient in both Swedish and English
