About the position
In this position, you get a chance to:
- Use the following technologies: Docker/Swarm, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Jenkins, Hashistack and, of course, AWS.
- Use the right tool for the job, for instance write one-off scripts in Python/bash, or write PR:s on 3rd party tools written in Go.
- Listen to and discuss with product management, users (typically delivery team members) and the CTO to make the right technical decisions.
- Work closely with other engineers at the company to make sure the system operates and scales well in the SaaS environment.

Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
- Have 5+ years in a professional dev and/or ops role.
- Are familiar with infrastructure-as-code or that you are experienced enough to learn it fast.
- Have a serious get-things-done attitude.
- Enjoy working in an agile environment and love knowledge sharing.

The Consultant roll
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
