Since 1999, the Panopticon team (formerly known as Datawatch Panopticon, today part of Altair Engineering) has worked with the largest banks, broker dealers, fund managers and exchanges, throughout New York, London, Chicago, Paris, Frankfurt, Sydney and other global financial centers. They've also been embedded in compliance, risk, and trading systems trusted by an even larger group of buy and sell side customers.

Panopticon started out as the technology offshoot of an emerging market retail brokerage. About the role

As a Backend Developer at Panopticon you will be joining a diverse and active team of engineers. Primarily working with Java and Spring Boot, you will also be using technologies like Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes. You will develop systems within visualization of real-time data towards their B2B products, handling the flow of Big Data, scalability and be a big part of the future IoT-solutions. At Panopticon you will follow the product development from start to finish and if you have the interest there might be an opening for lead role down the road.

Right now Panopticon is preparing for this years Kafka Summit, where their founder Ludvig Sandman will present how their latest feature, Panopticon Streams, can be used to monitor the trading of cryptocurrency in real time.
