ARBETSUPPGIFTER
You will be part of a team maintaining and updating a Linux platform used in one of Atlas Copcos advanced products. Tasks involve porting and creating new device drivers and scripts for the platform. You will also write bitbake recipes for Yocto/openembedded and do board-bringups of new circuit boards. Other than this, you will document the software and design. Naturally, you will take part in project meetings and become an important member of their agile software development team, currently consisting of seven skilled developers. Working according to SCRUM, you will solve tasks independently but yet in teams, as you take on your area of responsibility in different projects. VI SÖKER DIG SOM
You need at least a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably with specialization in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. And it goes without saying that you know your way in Linux, as a matter of fact, you are probably among the top players within this field. Intimate familiarity with the English language, written and spoken alike, is also a given prerequisite.

* 3+ years of BSD/Linux kernel development experience
* 2+ years of Yocto / openembedded experience
* Solid knowledge of Unix kernel internals such as networking, memory management and concurrency/synchronizations
* Strong kernel debugging skills
* Linux kernel with device tree experience is a plus
* Working knowledge of Python is positive
* Prior contribution to the open source community is qualifying
* Experience in gerrit is also a plus
