By forgoing traditional channels and engaging with customers directly, the brand quickly gained a global presence and managed to sell to over 100 countries during the first year, whilst attracting positive reviews from both the industry and consumers.

Axel Arigato manages to stay on top of the fast changing digital sphere by releasing one new style each week. The collections include men’s footwear, women’s footwear, clothing and accessories. Axel Arigato is currently carried by a select group of retailers as well as sold online and through the stores in London, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Copenhagen.

Axel Arigato is offering an internship opportunity for a Graphic Designer at the head office in Gothenburg. 

When joining our team you will:
• Assist in the design and create print-ready artworks for packaging, printed invitations and envelopes, VM for the Stores (window graphics, signage, posters)
• Assist in the development of project identities (weekly drops, Black Friday, Sale, etc.)
• Design invites and newsletters and update the website
• Develop light motion graphics and video editing works with Premiere & After Effects for social media and web
• Assist with photo editing and retouch for product and campaign images
• Assist with production logistics (for campaign shoots and print/production)

Qualifications
• A BA in graphic/visual design or related area
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (Premiere and After Effects are a plus)
• Print production knowledge (an understanding of how to set print-ready artworks to printers)
• Experience of file formatting for web and social media
• Typographic skills and attention to details
• Understanding of web design foundations and cross browser/device compatibility and UX for web
• Strong interest and knowledge of art, design and fashion
• A portfolio that highlights your aesthetics and abilities
• Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to use initiative
• Be able to multi task with strong planning and organizational skills and complete multiple projects independently
• Self-motivated and willing to learn
• Able to effectively communicate with multiple team members and align ideas
• Proficiency in AdobePhotoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
