Your position at Cambio
Cambio is in an extremely positive growth phase, where we are currently facing a major transformation with the goal of making our system architecture top notch. We aim to give our customers the best possible customer experience. As Chief Architect, you will have the overall technical responsibility to lead and drive the change and development of our COSMIC products against its target architecture in our transformation towards a SaaS solution and Continuous Delivery.

This position reports to the Head of Development and is a part of the Management team for R&D. You will also work closely with both platform development and development teams in the daily operations. At Cambio we work agile and our developers work primarily in Java and in web application development with technologies like HTML5, Typescript and Angular with support from continuous integration (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes etc.). Our database is Microsoft SQL server.

Our expectations
We believe that you are a driven and experienced System Architect who is up to date in the latest developments and trends in software development and architecture. You have the ability to think and work strategically as well as see the whole product, but also solve technical problems deep down in the source code. You are a natural leader with great team work skills and like to coach others. As a person you are communicative, solution-focused and thrive in international contexts as we have development teams in Sri Lanka as well as customers in Sweden, Denmark and the UK. You enjoy a constant stream of intellectually challenging tasks where the result is important for you.

Requirements
- At least five years of experience as a System
Architect in software development
- Experience of container technology and cloud-
based solutions
- Several years of experience as a full-stack
developer (server-based java development and
database design and web-based front end
development at some level)
- Ability to think strategically and desire to drive
changes
- Experience of some form of a leading role in
software development
