Frontend Developer

Mutate is in an phase of expansion and currently has several open positions. We are actively looking for passionate people to join our platform and engine team in Stockholm. You will be working with skilled colleagues and be part of an exciting project, where we are creating a gaming engine and platform for virtual worlds of the future.

This application is for a person that is able to jump straight in to the frontend development of our project/platform. A platform that brings users and creators together.

You will be part of a small team and need to be comfortable working in a fast paced agile environment, where you take your own initiatives and aid the team in development. Each team member has an important influence on the project and is involved in the decision-making process.

You should have a positive attitude, be dedicated, team-spirited and love a challenge.

What will you do at Mutate?
You will develop a desktop client application based on electron using modern frameworks. You are going to develop new features for our platform using React.js, build reusable components and frontend libraries. You will work with designers and together implement the visual and functional aspects of our client.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developing frontend client/web applications. Working with Node.js and any component frameworks such as Angular and React.js.
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Able to work independently as well as help the organization in improving workflows and processes.
- Strong understanding of user experience and interactions.

Good To Have
- Experience working with and knowledge of good practice REST APIs.
- Experience with electron, typescript, redux and native apis (C++ native modules).
- CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS.
- Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
