Westermo is looking for an Experienced Software Developer
As a Software Developer at Westermo you will join the R&D Software Development department in Västerås. You get a great chance to become a part of a rather unique experience, we develop WeOS; our own Linux based operating system. WeOS runs on approx. 70 different HW products. On top of the Linux operating system that we gear towards each individual HW, we provide a rich feature set for the benefit of our customers.
In this position you will work with requirements, design, implementation, trouble shooting, support and maintenance of WeOS. Development is focused at embedded system developed in C. You will also work with development and maintenance of WeOS test. As a member of our Software team we want to see that you as a person actively drive continuous improvements related to how you, and therefore how we work.
Qualifications
We are looking for a person who is interested in software development and have very good knowledge in C and good knowledge about Linux and Python. You have a Masters Degree in SW Engineering with focus on embedded development and data communications. You also have a couple of years of experience from embedded development. You have good communication skills, both verbal and in writing in Swedish as well as in English.
