job description
In this position you may play an important role in building the next generation of a platform with the aim to have a full event-driven micro services architecture for business agility. The micro services architecture will increase scalability, reduce the delivery lead time and make development teams more autonomous.
requirements
You are living in the greater Stockholm area and are a seasoned Backend Software Engineer and would like to join this company on their journey in building highly technical challenging platform using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Java, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Containers, Docker, TDD, and Jenkins (among others).
To be successful in this role it speaks for itself that you have a “can-do” attitude and are eager to actively contribute to the work we do by applying the latest technologies. You love learning new things, new technologies and , tools and are ready to do whatever it takes to get things done as efficiently as possible.
Further we think you have at least 4 years of preferably with a strong background in designing and building distributed scalable services in Java and you have an understanding of distributed system design, data structures, and algorithms and understand how to apply them.

With this company you will feel as a fish in the water if you are genuinely excited about technology, and have a strong interest in learning and playing with emergent technologies via responsible experimentation. It is important to you that you deliver quality and you take pride in shipping high-quality code. You have comfort and familiarity with modern development practices and the development lifecycle with experience using Scrum, Kanban, Lean or other agile methodologies.

Great experience in working with Continuous Integration & Deployment tools and techniques, such as DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, and Selenium is wanted!. Your analytical skills are excellent and problem-solving is high priority and you are able to effectively commute your ideas. You hold and express considered opinions, and modify them when faced with contrary evidence. Above all, you let the facts do the talking whenever possible. You are a good communicator in both written and verbal, comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical team members. You have a working proficiency in English (written and verbal).
