We are looking for an enthusiastic Integrations Specialist with Backend Engineering interest to join one of our core teams within the Productivity Engineering Tribe. You will work within an autonomous team that integrates the critical business and financial systems supporting Spotify's enterprise needs.

This role focuses on integrating Workday with systems that needs HR related data, including employee lifecycle management processes, but you will also contribute in building a scalable, quality driven solution to support our Integration Platform as a whole. The platform, built on a combination of Spotify Tech Stack, MuleSoft technology, Workday Studio and Open Source tools, will provide the services and infrastructure needed to create fast, reliable integrations between multiple internal and third party business critical systems.

What you’ll do
Work closely with our partners in HR, Development, QA and 3rd party systems to understand business requirements
Design, develop and support integrations & reports between Workday and other 3rd party applications
Use Workday integration tools (e.g. Workday Studio, EIB’s, Core Connectors and PICOF and PECI integration)
Work with the Platform team to learn the MuleSoft application and embrace Spotify golden path infrastructure, toolset and deployment pipelines (e.g. GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, Maven & Kubernetes)
Collaborate closely with other engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross functional team
Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team, potentially including taking part in an on-call rotation
Work in an environment that supports your individual growth

Who you are
You have experience in system integration, preferably in the Workday Studio domain
You are are interested in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise
You are comfortable running your software in Linux environments
You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery and automated testing
You have interest in software engeering (e.g. Java or Python)
You have good understanding of data structures and algorithms
