Job description
You will be an important part of a DevOps-inspired team called Visual Engineering, with focus to provide a modularized frontend framework with reusable components for scalability, quality and a unified look and feel. Visual Engineering is also responsible for the Fleet Management (FMP) Authentication Framework and common services for FMP. The team is one of many development teams within Connected Services and Solutions and the key to success is working and collaborating across teams and understanding the context.

The team is managed by a Product owner, who distributes and prioritizes tasks within the team and me; Group manager for this team and another team called Delivery engineering. My leadership is coaching and developing and I encourage an open and honest approach in the group. Our cooperation is based on trust, joy, commitment and challenge.

Your profile
We are looking for a “T-shaped” system developer that is comfortable working with both backend and frontend. You appreciate the value of good cooperation and you are comfortable with the agile culture and ways of working. We also believe that you are a problem solver driven by customer needs rather than a specific technical stack. Since we are currently working on moving our current services to the cloud (AWS), you will have the possibility to greatly influence the choice of technology stack and implementation.

Key concepts that you master: Building frontends with SPA technology. Building REST API backends with any technology. SQL databases. Cloud development.

Our current technology stack: Angular/AngularJS, Bootstrap,  .NET (C#) ,ASP.NET, MVC, WEB API, SQL server. Cloud provider is mainly AWS.

You have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, and at least three years of experience in system development. Fluent in English is a requirement. Good Swedish is qualifying.
