Right now, our Database team needs a new member and we are looking for a seasoned Database Administrator to join us in the heart of Stockholm!

What’s the deal?

NetEnt’s Database Team handles the global database infrastructure, making sure that availability and performance are at their best. Most of our infrastructure is based on Windows and MS SQL, yet we are currently heading towards DBaaS and one of our goals is to use cloud services and provide a wider array of database engines to better adapt to our stakeholders needs. As part of the team you will get the opportunity to shape the way we work and offer our services within the company.

We always have interesting projects ongoing that encourages us to be creative and stay ahead of the game. As a Database administrator at NetEnt you will be challenged with a fast-paced work environment where you can drive change from idea to reality.

You will be part of the team that is in charge of defining the future database infrastructure for NetEnt. In terms of DB tech, we use Microsoft products and we will be moving towards adding Linux and No-SQL to our portfolio.

Main game skills: 

Experience from working with databases in a corporate environment.
Experience from working with both Windows and Linux
Basic knowledge of T-SQL and PowerShell
Interested in/Good understanding of automation
Practical experience in troubleshooting performance problems
Great logical and analytical skills and an ability to create structure in your work.
English, written and spoken.

Bonus game skills: 

Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, PowerShell,Bash/python
Experience using No-SQL database engines
Experience using cloud services
