Project Manager - Java

In the role of Project Manager, you will plan for and ensure quality and timeliness of activities related to design, build and implementation of work product. You will participate in requirements elicitation, analysis of architecture, create and review design and contribute to activities related to estimation, staffing analysis & solutioning and risk planning. You will also interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artefacts. You will act as a mentor and support the project team in developing optimized high quality deliverables. Required

• Core Java: Strong fundamental knowledge of Core Java with hands on experience.
• Struts / Spring / Any MVC
• Hibernate / iBatis / Any ORM
• Webservices – Restful and SOAP / API
• Knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks: (Junit / Mockito)
• UI skills: HTML, JSP, Javascript, jquery, ajax, angular JS
• CI-CD/ Build Tools: (Jenkins, Ant, Maven, SonarQube):
• Work experience in cloud technologies
• Should have knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning and functional designs.
• Should have worked on Service Oriented Architecture
• Assist in defining scope and sizing of work
• Working experience on Oracle and related Databases
• Application maintenance and support experience
• Manages applications/ development projects, or complex initiatives
• Ability to review source code, documentation
• Daily interaction with customer

Preferred

• Experience in working Agile scrum teams
• Able to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and interact with different team members
• Flexibility and adaptability to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment
• Creating thought leadership within the area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys
• Database knowledge on NoSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB
• Should know how to deploy java applications on any clouds like AWS / Google / Azure / others.
