What’s in it for you?

The position within the ART ICE Calibration (Internal Combustion Engine) is part of Vehicle Propulsion. We in the team, Diesel Aftertreatment Calibration are responsible for Aftertreatment controls calibration in diesel engines. The team calibrate and verify strategies and software for related areas.

The team’s impact on emissions is large and we take large responsibility for making our Diesel engines aligned with emission legislations. We work with a number of different emission technologies such as Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), Lean NOx Traps (LNT) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). Our vehicle and engine variants are rapidly increasing at the same time as we adapt to new legal demands. The next step in legislation is not that many years away and we need to be focused in our work to find the right strategies to meet customer satisfaction, fuel efficient vehicles and make our cars cleaner than ever.

We are now looking for an analytical and self-driven Data and Analysis Controls Engineer to strengthen our team.

What you’ll do:

A DACE in our section lead the development of best-practice methods for data collection, analysis and simulation/modelling and support the team in applying them. You will perform analysis in projects, quality issues (e.g. DRO) and other ad hoc analytical tasks. Moreover, you will create and maintain development tools as well as advise and educate colleagues for using new methods and tools. Being a competence center for data analysis and participating in the model-based optimization community will also be a part of your work.

Do you fit the profile?

We believe that you have at the minimum a M.Sc. in Engineering with modeling and data experience. Having experience in Matlab/Simulink and/or Python as well as model based calibaration experience is an advantage. Furthermore, programming/IT skills (HTML, server and database management) and experience of engine controls as well as experience in Diesel aftertreatment technologies are meritorious. Moreover, you are fluent in English, spoken and in writing.
