What you will do at Emerson

As a Scrum Product Owner, you will work broadly with software development for our high-tech radar transmitters with its associated configuration and operator tools. Important tasks for this position includes requirements elicitation together with our business area representatives, decomposing, structuring and prioritization of requirements and managing a product backlog. One of your main tasks will also be to coordinate the development activities performed by our development teams in Mölnlycke, Linköping and St Petersburg.

You will belong to our product development department, which is the core of our business. You will have the opportunity to build a broad network, having internal contact with our business area representatives as well as external contact with the global development team..

Your background

We are looking for you who masters the Scrum methodology and have proven experience in software product development. Therefore, we believe that you have worked as a Scrum Product Owner and/or as a Scrum Master for several years. In addition to this you have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in data, IT, automation, electronics, engineering physics or equivalent.

For success in this position we believe you are analytical, structured and have a drive for results. You enjoy using your creativity and are motivated by working in teams. We believe in continuous improvement, and therefore look for someone who strives for personal development and wants to improve our way of working.

It is considered as a merit with knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

• Certified Scrum Product Owner/Scrum Master
• Requirements Elicitation and Management
• Human Centred Design/UX
• System Software Architecture (Windows/ Linux)
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
• Work with distributed development teams
