Software Engineer, Payments

As the Payments Development team at Qliro, we build and support our Payment solution, which offers a great customer experience to our merchants. Our Checkout integrates various payment options such as invoice, credit cards, and PayPal. It also provides JSON APIs towards our merchants allowing them to track and manage completed orders: ship and return goods and give their customers discounts in return. We are currently a team of ten developers from diverse backgrounds working as part of a wider Development department of seven teams. We are passionate about our technology stack and the way we work:

- Automated testing, e.g. unit tests and integration tests run under TeamCity

We have a Friday tradition where we play board games and bowling. We also have something called “developers unleashed” allowing team members to work on things they would like to improve on their projects.

Qliro is Fin-tech and engineering company at heart. We look for people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle whatever problem. As an engineer at Qliro, you will work in a specific team but with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve.

Even though we are separated into teams, Qliro is still at heart a start-up and one big team where everyone’s opinion is valued. There is a great degree of freedom within your team and you are solely responsible for what you do and your time. This is a perfect time to join and put yourself in one of these small, growing and creative teams.

In this role, you will be joining an agile development department that today consist of seven teams with approximately 50 developers. You will be part of a small cross-functional, self-organizing team of talented Software Engineers working towards shared goals and with full focus on delivering a high-quality product. You will be working closely with the product owner and other team members, not only developing features yourself, but also doing pair programming, code reviews, and implementing tests of all kinds.
