Overview
This position is part of the Infrastructure Services, Operations Team, which is responsible for overall IT Infrastructure Operations that supports the integration of our systems and the technical layers for Essity globally, you share responsibility for daily operational matters support and maintenance in this area.
The team goal for this position is to ensure that we deliver excellent infrastructure support to our customers in accordance to set SLAs and set KPIs.
The position is primarily located in Gothenburg (other Essity offices in EU can be considered) and reports to the IT Manager, Service Operations.

Main Tasks
Support, operate, monitor, and maintain systems, servers, and different applications on our Windows platform
Troubleshooting and performance tuning of application and websites in cooperation with the application teams or other technical teams
Deploy changes and updates in production applications and websites/applications.
Monitor and operate servers, applications, and web-sites with the help of System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
Maintenance and administration of DNS, certificates, Windows servers (VMWare), and clusters
Work with PowerShell scripting
Work with automation
ADFS knowledge is meritorious
Participating in IT projects when feasible
Closely cooperate with other Infrastructure Services teams and Application Services teams

Key Competencies
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience
ITIL knowledge or certification is meritorious
Experience of support and operations in an international organization
Knowledge and experience in monitoring and maintaining applications in a Windows Hosting environment
Fluent in English
Knowledge and experience of open-source technologies such as Apache, MySQL, PHP is meritorious
