Have you experienced the madness that is the housing market of Stockholm? Paid an overprize to live in the outskirts of the city? Perhaps you even had to turn down jobs due to not being able to find housing within a commutable area? Then you are one of many.
At COLIVE we saw this problem and decided to make an active contribution to a more open and sustainable society. We believe that the existing lack of housing options for young adults has consequences far beyond the real estate market and has large impact on the growth and social integration in our city. COLIVE is a proptech startup offering high-tech, social and cost-efficient accommodation for young adults. We are a software company passionate about creating a product to facilitate living in newly built apartments specifically designed for space-efficient high-quality living in a shared environment.
About the position
Currently we are building our core tech team at COLIVE, starting with an experienced fullstack developer who is ready to have fun and contribute to a product that solves a real problem.
As one of the first members of our core team we expect you to be proactive in bringing new ideas and improvements to the table. You will be the one to take ownership of the system architecture and to drive continuous integration processes as well as lead technical implementation of the product user stories. This means that you will get to put your ideas into action and quickly become an integral part of this team.
Product road-map
COLIVE has a tech stack of Node.js, React and React Native and is developing a product road-map starting with “The COLIVE Community” software platform. The platform enables matching of the tenants and also integrates with smart home applications and services, for example digital locks and laundry booking systems. We recently launched the MVP, which now has over a thousand registered users. Additionally, COLIVE offers real estate companies, residential developers and operators a web-based management system to streamline co-living operations, called “The COLIVE Enabler”.
We expect you to have:
- 3+ years of experience with web development using Node.js and React.
- Good understanding of TDD, DDD, SOA.
- Hands-on experience with CI and product development phases from architecture to implementation, launch and maintenance.
- Self-motivation and drive for getting things done.
