Integration Services within Sandvik IT has the global service responsibility for technical operations, solution design, development and maintenance for several different integration technologies, such as WebSphere MQ, Biztalk, Java and internally developed solutions, such as iBridge. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for two Systems Engineers to work in Sandviken. One of these positions is based on a two-year fixed-term contract.

Key performance areas
In this position as a Systems Engineer, you and your colleagues are primarily responsible for the iBridge area. Going forward there will be an opportunity to expand into other Integration areas, depending on your own interests. Working in accordance with Sandvik IT processes and guidelines, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the technical platform; planning and designing integration solutions; installing and upgrading the platform; and implementing new engineering and functionality processes, in order to meet customer demands and to support continuous improvement. Additionally, capacity planning, resource optimization and second and third line support are part of your responsibilities.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant degree in IT and a genuine interest in technology, who wants to develop skills in Integration at Sandvik. You are experienced in working with IT and skills in Websphere MQ, SQL, Windows Server/Failover Clustering, Web Services or XML are advantageous. Ideally, you are used to working with IT in a global setting and have good knowledge of Sandvik. Excellent communication skills in English are prerequisite, both verbally and in writing.
