About the job As a Software engineer in Cash Management, your main responsibility will be to deliver secure, appropriate and reliable IT services to our customers. We have implemented the agile way of working.

Your responsibilities will include:

Take part in technical development assignments with other banks and external vendors.
Handle files in Cobol environment
Work with requirements and product development
You will have the opportunity to develop two products which the bank is prioritizing.
Support the Agile Product Owner in finding a good balance between life cycle management, maintenance, regulatory compliance and development
Collaborate with the APO, business analyst and other roles to refine the product backlog to identify that the most valuable things are being worked on first
Design solutions within the frames of defined architecture
Solve and deploy solutions to incidents and problems
Ensure quality awareness and care when designing, building and maintaining software
Strive for high level of automation of the tasks that are of repetitive nature for the whole continuous delivery pipeline

What you need to succeed To succeed in this role you need good understanding of business areas and customer/user needs as well as of application structure. This role is a combined role. You need to know both Cobol development and work close to product owners within Swedbank as well as external vendors.
Ability to perform investigations on assigned tasks alone or in cooperation with team members.

To take on this role you should possess knowledge in the following:

IMS basic knowledge
SQL language
Changeman
