Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Your responsibility

We are now looking to complement our development team with a tester with a drive for high quality and automation. The team’s current assignment is building a new version of our tool for systems architecture, including functional architecture, embedded networks architecture and more. The system will have many integrations to crucial business flows and therefore enforcing a solid QA process is vital.

Develop new and improve existing software systems within systems engineering at Scania’s R&D. By joining us, you will take part of an exciting journey towards higher level of digitalisation enabling safe and efficient autonomous vehicles, and a better and even more creative workflow for Scania´s engineers.

Your profile

We are looking for applicants with at least BSc in Computer science or similar. At least 3 years of work experience within the field is a minimum.

In order to be successful you need to have:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge within and experience of setting up automated processes for functional, performance and system testing
• Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies and frameworks
• Good knowledge and experience with object oriented languages, preferably C#, C++. Knowledge of WPF is an advantage.
• Experience and practice from using agile working methods

You will work closely with the developers and together create a test driven environment where it is easy to deploy fast with highly reliable quality. The QA process is owned by the team but you will take a leading role in developing and ensuring the quality of the software going forward.You should have a positive attitude and be able to cooperate with the team, but also work independently when required. Your ability to take responsibility, be structured and self-propelled is very important. You must be proficient in written and spoken English. Swedish is an advantage.
