About the job
Product configuration is a very important area for Alfa Laval. Many of our products are customized for a specific customer use case. During the coming years the product configuration platform will be evolved in multiple ways.

As a DevOps Engineer you will create strategic solutions for managing the production and development infrastructure of our product configuration platform. We are working in an agile environment and you will work closely with a team of developers. Together in close collaboration you will develop and support our product configuration platform which is central for our business.

As a part of the team you will be responsible for:

• Release and deploy software to production.
• Create, maintain & improve deployment pipelines for new & existing services and applications.
• Develop tools to reduce occurrences of errors and reduce waste in release process.
• Correct minor bugs and implement minor improvements to applications when needed.
• Document & provide improvement suggestions to release related processes
• Provide & coordinate third level technical support to production problems.

What you know
You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish as well as in English. You have programming experience from Java, Javascript, if you also have experience from following it would be meritorious: Perl/Python as well as software/framework experience from Jenkins, Maven, Selenium, Tomcat, TFS, APM (New relic/Appdynamics), SQL Server.
